Abstract

This research is a descriptive research conducted from March 16, 2021 to March 19, 2021 using a quantitative approach that aims to determine the level of difficulty of learning biology during the Covid-19 pandemic online material for the excretion system in class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru For the 2020/2021 school year. The data collection techniques used are observation, questionnaire, interview and documentation. The population in this study was 100 students from class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 2 which was taken based on propotionate startified random sampling. Based on the results of the study, it shows that students in class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru for the 2020/2021 Academic Year, high-level academic students have difficulty learning biology in the excretion system material with a high level of learning difficulty of 82.38%. Moderate-level academic students have difficulty learning the material biology of the excretory system with a high level of learning difficulty of 75.12%. And low- level academic students have difficulty learning the material biology of the excretory system with a moderate learning difficulty of 62.04%.
