Abstract

Development of Mathematics Learning Media Using Prezi on Materials Matrix for Class XI SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Kuras SEPHIARY SUSAN NPM. 186410351 Thesis of Mathematics Education Study Program FKIP Islamic University of Riau Supervisor : Aulia Sthephani, M.Pd ABSTRACT This research aims to produce mathematics learning media using prezi on matriks material for class XI SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Kuras. The type of Research and Development (R & D) model that has been modified according to the needs of researchers into (1) potential and problems; (2) data collection; (3) product design; (4) design validation; (5) design revision; (6) product trial; (7) final production. The research instrument used a validation sheet as well as a teacher response questionnaire and a student response questionnaire with data collection techniques using descriptive analysis. The object of this research is mathematics learning media using prezi in class XI matriks material. The test subjects were 28 students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Kuras. The mathematics learning media product developed using prezi was validated by four validators consisting of two Mathematics Education Study Program Lecturers and two Mathematics Teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Kuras. Validation data and practicality data were analyzed by determining the average of each assessment. The results of the validation data analysis by four validators showed an average 85,04% with “very valid” criteria. The teacher?s response to the use of medical learning received an average of 92,5% with the criteria of practically, namely “very practical” and the average students response questionnaire scored 80,62% with “very practical” criteria. Thus, it can be conclude that the mathematics learning media using prezi on matrix material has been tested for validity and practicality.
