Abstract

This study aims to determine students' perceptions of the implementation of biology learning in class XI IPA at SMAN 1 Kandis for the academic year 2021/2022. The research was conducted in June 2022. The method used was a survey method through observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Sampling using saturated sampling technique. The sample in this study was 107 students, taken from class XI IPA. The data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive techniques. The distributed questionnaire consists of 3 indicators with 30 statement items. The results of the study can be seen that students' perceptions of the implementation of biology learning in class XI IPA at SMAN 1 Kandis for the academic year 2021/2022 based on indicators of opening learning activities are 83.84% in the very good category, the indicators for core learning activities are 68.59% in the quite good category. and on the indicator of closing the learning activity of 78.21% in the very good category. It can be concluded that the average student perception of the implementation of biology learning in class XI science at SMAN 1 Kandis for the academic year 2021/2022 is quite good with a percentage value of 76.88%.
