Abstract
this study aims to influence the effect of accounting information systems and internal control system s on employee performance. the population in this study were retail company employee in Bengkalis City. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique. The total sampling was 47 employee who worked and implemented an internal control system consisting of shop heads, shop head assistants, and cashiers. the result of this study indicate that accounting information system has no significant effect on employee performance. the internal control systems has a significant effect on employee performance. Keywords: accounting information systems, internal control systems, and employee performance.
