Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and explain whether there is transparency and accountability in managing village fund allocations in West Perawang Village, Tualang District, Siak Regency. The theory used as the basis for this research is Permendagri Number 20 of 2018, regarding village financial management namely planning, implementation, administration, reporting, and accountability. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. In terms of transparency, West Perawang Village is not yet transparent because it is not in accordance with Permendagri No. 20 of 2018, because there is no announcement board or information board regarding the amount of expenditure and income in carrying out village fund allocation management activities and there is no beliho in Perawang Barat village. The results of the research show that in accountability, namely the planning, implementation, administration, and reporting stages of the management of West Perawang Village Fund Allocation, Tualang District, Siak Regency, they are accountable according to Permendagri No.20 of 2018 while the accountability stage is not yet accountable because it is not in accordance with Permendagri No.20 in 2018 because there is no accountability report on the realization of activities, because the village government only makes a report on the funds received in the village budget, such as an accountability report.
