Abstract

Interpersonal Communications of Leaders in Motivating Employees at the Rimba Mutiara Banso Cooperative Feni Febrianti NPM : 189110145 Interpersonal communication is one form of communication that plays an important role in supporting an organization to achieve its goals. Interpersonal communication is considered to be one way that is quite effective in providing work motivation for employees. This study aims to determine how leadership interpersonal communication in motivating employees at the Rimba Mutiara Banso Cooperative. Informants in this study amounted six people, namely one leader and five employees of the Rimba Mutiara Banso Cooperative. This study uses the characteristicts of the effectiveness of interpersonal communication according to Devito which explains about five positive attitudes when doing interpersonal communication. The results of the study explain that the implementation of interpersonal communication that has been carried out by the ledership in motivating employees at the Rimba Mutiara Banso Cooperative is going quite well. Opennes in the context of giving dan receiving information honestly. In empathy, leaders try to care to understand the needs of employees. Positive attitude of the leader by giving words of praise to employees. Leadership support in the form of giving ideas to employees. The daily language is used by the leadership as a supporting factor for equality with employees.
