Abstract

In the process of carrying out Initial Well Completion to change the drilling well to be a production well we need to analyze the characteristics and properties of rocks and fluid formation, which can be done using the Logging While Drilling method (When the Drilling Process was run) or Conventional Logging (performed after the drilling process). And also supporting analysis work is carried out such as core analysis with conventional methods Coring and Sidewall Coring for direct analysis and confirmation results of logging readings with the results of lab analysis (core sample analysis). In this research The logging method used is conventional logging and core analysis is carried out by taking core samples with the sidewall coring method. Then do swabbing job to determine the productivity index of the well. In In this research, the author has determined the productive zone (pay zone) in the wells being analyzed based on the interpretation of gamma ray logs and resistivity logs as well as calculating the porosity value and Sw (water saturation) in the formation. From the interpretation results obtained 8 productive zones i.e. at depths of 1)1840-1860ft, 2)2001 – 2006ft, 3)2035-2058ft, 4)2065-2075ft, 5)2080-2090 ft, 6)2093-2099, 7)2102-2158 ft), 8)2190-2205 ft. Then confirmed with the results of the core analysis listed in the marked log provided by the company for ordering the interpretation results made in this study are in accordance with interpretation results of the company. After that the author will make an initial completion design draft settlement based on the results of the interpretation, including; perforation planning, swabbing job, and details of the completion of the initial completion work. On the design of the initial completion the author's would recommend completing a total of 14 intervals, and recommend using a surface casing size of 9 5/8”, Production Casing 7”, and 63 joints Liners 3 ½” size.
