Abstract

Project time management is the stage of defining the processes that need to be carried out during the project. Regarding the guarantee that the project can run on time while taking into account the limitations of costs and maintaining the quality of the project. The main purpose of project time management is that the project implementation according to its scope can meet the predetermined targets. Like the Riau Police Headquarters building construction project implemented by PT. MAM Energindo with a project implementation time of 270 calendar days. Based on information obtained from the contractor through interviews, the Riau Police Headquarters building project has a delay in the progress of work so that this project has an addendum contract which includes changes to schedules, costs and specifications. In conducting this research, the method used is quantitative research method. This study uses a questionnaire instrument where the variables used in the study are aspects of time management such as determining project scheduling, measuring and reporting project progress, comparing schedule with project progress and planning and implementing corrective actions. respondents in this study amounted to 23 people. The respondent is the Organizational Structure of PT. MAM Energindo. The obstacle factor in the application of time management in the construction project of the Riau Police Headquarters building is, there is a low identification of activities with an average value of 2.83 not carried out properly, this is because the project does not run on time as planned so that it affects the overall project duration and interrupt the work order. Difficulty in recording resource usage with an average value of 2.91, this is influenced by late delivery of materials to the project. the company does not increase the number of workers to speed up the work process with a value of 2.91, this is due to fear of affecting operational costs that are determined from labor costs.
