Abstract

This study is the result of research that describes the effectiveness of vehicle tax payment services at the tualang Samsat office. In the implementation of the vehicle tax payment service (PKB). Samsat is an abbreviation of "One Stop Integrated Administration System" consisting of 3 institutions, namely Regional Revenue, the Police Service and the Jasa Raharja Service. To find out how The effectiveness and factors that influence the service of paying vehicle taxes at the Samsat office tualang will use the Sondang P. siagian theory indicator. The indicators are the time, accuracy and style of the service provider. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the vehicle tax payment service at the tualang Samsat office, in addition to knowing the factors that affect the effectiveness of the vehicle tax payment service at the tualang Samsat office. In this study, the writer uses a qualitative descriptive method that provides a description of the situation and analyzes the data based on observations and interviews in the field. The results of research on the effectiveness of motor vehicle tax payment services at the tualang Samsat office have not been effective and found differences with the previous one in 2016, in terms of time it can be said to be fast, but in terms of accuracy and service providers the style has not changed from the previous year Because there is no supervision on brokers and not all officers provide 3 services, namely smiling, greeting, and polite. In addition, the factors that influence Vehicle tax payment services at Samsat tualang are management, systems, infrastructure, information and communication, supervision and community participation.
