Abstract
This research is a type of descriptive research with a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The number of respondents in this study were 12 respondents. The results showed that: 1) the prospect of oyster mushroom cultivation business in the village of tebing tinggi okura kec. Rumbai pesisir has a BCR value > 1, so it can be interpreted that this oyster mushroom cultivation business has good business prospects or is feasible to run. 2) Then for the absorption of labor, there are 28 workers who are absorbed in the prospect of this oyster mushroom cultivation business. And the value of the elasticity of employment opportunities is 3.07%. This means that if the oyster mushroom cultivation business is in the village of tebing tinggi okura kec. Rumbai pesisir increased by 1%, so the absorbed workforce increased by 3.07%.
