Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality of population administration public services at the Pekanbaru City Population and Civil Registration Service and to determine the factors inhibiting the quality of population administration public services at the Pekanbaru City Population and Civil Registration Service. The assessment indicators used include Tangible evidence, Empathy, Reliability, Responsiveness, and Assurance. In this research the method used is this research is quantitative research. Numerical data comes from the results of questionnaires and interviews. The sampling technique used in this research is saturated sampling and incidental sampling. The data of this research are sourced from primary data and secondary data according to the required data. In the analysis of the data presented in the form of a written description. Based on research conducted on the quality of public services in population administration at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Pekanbaru City. dominated by good answers. In terms of obstacles, it can be seen from the physical evidence (tangible) that the number of seats is still not sufficient for the people who come, ordinary people who are not familiar with the online system. Indicators of Empathy (Emphaty) The Population and Civil Registration Office of Pekanbaru City still tends to be unfriendly in dealing with the community, people do not understand the procedures for services at the Pekanbaru City Population and Civil Registration Service. indicator Reliability of EL-KTP retrieval services because the population in the city of Pekanbaru requires a long process.
