Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the Governancein the Management of The Sang Nila Utama Regional Museum Tourist Attractions During the Covid-19 Pandemic in Riau Province. To find out the inhibiting factors in Governance in the Management of Sang Nila Utama Regional Museum Tourist Attractions During the Covid-19 Pandemic in Riau Province. The assessment indicators used include Accountability, Transparency, Participation, Rule Of Law. In this study, the method used was a qualitative method. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The total number of respondents in this study was 7 consisting of 2 people as Key Informants who were considered the most knowledgeable and participated in supporting the smooth management of the Sang Nila Utama Museum, 2 people as museum attendants and guides and 3 museum visitors. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the management at the Sang Nila Utama Museum in Riau Province is still not fully optimal. This is due to the many obstacles during the Covid-19 pandemic faced by the Riau Provincial Cultural Office.
