Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has not only occurred throughout the world, but has occurred in almost all parts of the world, including one of them, namely Indonesia. Indonesia also has several areas, one of which is Riau province, where Riau Province has one village, namely Pandau Jaya village, Siak Hulu district, Kampar district, where Pandau Jaya village had entered the Covid-19 red zone area. The purpose of this study is to find out how the responsibility given by the Pandau Jaya village government in handling covid-19 in Pandau Jaya village, Siak Hulu district, Kampar regency. indicators, which include responsibility as obligation, responsibility as accountability and responsibility as cause. In this study, it is known that there are several people who can be used as informants including 1 plt. Village Head/Village Secretary as key informants and 1 Head of Planning Affairs and 1 village midwife and 5 community members as research informants who are considered the most competent and know the problems that will be studied and able to provide information that can be developed to obtain a data. The research method used by the researcher is the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The informant withdrawal technique also uses a purposive sampling technique, in which the technique takes informants with a specific purpose of age with the research theme because the person is considered to have the information needed by the researcher. Then the data collection technique used is primary data and secondary data. Based on the analysis of the researchers, it can be seen that the responsibility of the village government in handling covid-19 in Pandau Jaya village, Siak Hulu district, Kampar district is optimal, this is based on 3 indicators used in the study. which makes the responsibility of this village government better than before.
