Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how to apply the principles of good governance in the management of village-owned enterprises in Sanglar village, Reteh sub-district, Indragiri hilir district and to find out the inhibiting factors in the application of good governance principles in the management of village-owned enterprises in Sanglar village, Reteh district, district. Indragiri Hilir. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis research method with a qualitative approach using a descriptive survey research type with interviews, observations and documentation as a tool to collect data. The application of the principles of Good Governance using indicators of accountability, transparency, participation, the rule of law B.C Smith (2017:213). As for the results of this study, the accountability principle indicators regarding the management of BUMDes Sanglar Gemilang are good, but BUMDes Sanglar Gemilang regarding funds is still lacking in capital which is an inhibiting factor. see from the interview results. For the principle indicators of the participation of the BUMDes managers themselves in the interviews it was good in involving the community but it was also concluded that there were still many people who did not participate in the Sanglar Gemilang BUMDes. it is seen that there has been no deviation from the rule of law.
