Abstract
Work agreements are the beginning of the birth of industrial relations between employers and workers. With the development of the business world that is very dependent on the existence of good industrial relations, because of the better industrial relations it will have a huge impact on the development of the business world. One of the reasons for good and maintained industrial relations is the need for legal protection and certainty, especially for workers, with the employment agreement expected by employers not to be arbitrary in paying wages without considering the economy of workers and their families. The problems found in writing this thesis are how the implementation of payment of work wages at PT. Mega Murni Natura in Pekanbaru, as well as how to supervise the Riau Provincial Manpower Office against the implementation of work wage payments based on Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Labor. In this study the type of research used observational reasearch with the nature of descriptive research. The research location chosen by the author is PT. Natura Mega Murni in Pekanbaru because of weaknesses in the payment of wages. The population in this study is the leader of PT. Natura Mega Murni and the Manpower Office with a sample of 36 respondents who were leaders and workers and 1 respondent was the Head of the Transmigration Manpower Office in Riau Province. Primary data is obtained directly from the field where the author directly takes to the field in order to obtain the required data while the secondary data comes from literature books relating to the problem of the author. Data collection tools used were interviews and questionnaires. The data obtained are then analyzed in a descriptive manner which is then drawn conclusions by the method of inductive conclusions. The results of the study obtained that the implementation of payment of work wages at PT. Natura Mega Murni in Pekanbaru where workers still receive wages that are not in accordance with the minimum wage set by the Pekanbaru city government and there are still many workers who do not understand the work agreement. Supervision by the Riau Provincial Manpower Office on the implementation of payment of labor wages is still not maximal and there is a lack of guidance and socialization for companies and workers, so there are still many companies that commit violations related to the payment of labor wages and the maximum employment of Riau Province to companies companies that commit violations related to labor wages.
