Abstract

Decency crime generally raises fears or anxieties of parents towards female children because besides being able to threaten the safety of girls, it can also affect the growth process towards early sexual maturity. Cases of decency crime against children is one of the cases that experienced a significant increase behind this. From time to time the amount of violence against children is unstoppable and the way it happened is increasingly inhumane. The main problem in this study is what factors are the causes of decency crimes committed in Pekanbaru City, how the modus operandi of decency crimes committed by Children in the City of Pekanbaru, and how to overcome the moral crime committed by children in Pekanbaru City. The type of research used in this research is observational research legal research that is by way of surveys, while the nature is descriptive, namely research that aims to provide a more precise and concrete picture. Based on the results of research by the author about the criminological analysis of decency crimes committed by children in the city of Pekanbaru. Factors that cause the occurrence of decency crimes committed by Children in the City of Pekanbaru are factors in the habit of viewing pornographic videos, family factors, factors of promiscuity, economics, educational factors and a person's level of faith. The modus operandi of morality crimes used by children is by inviting the victim to watch pornographic videos, giving seduction, giving rewards, with threats of violence and by mode of love or liking. Whereas efforts to overcome morality crimes committed by children in the city of Pekanbaru are from the parents' side or that is by paying more attention to the daily lives and daily activities of children, providing lessons on religion to strengthen the faith of children whose range is easily affected by the development of the times facilitating excessive children such as giving sophisticated mobile phones so that it will trigger children to easily access and get pornographic videos and vulgar photos, from the police that block negative sites such as pornographic sites and other negative sites on social networks. And raiding lodging places or cheap hotels and the government makes regulations that if someone who stays overnight at an inn or in hotels must prove that they are legitimately married and not from students or unmarried.
