Abstract
The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is a correlation between motivation and learning outcomes of Biology of XI science students at SMA IT Bangkinang in the 2021/2022 academic year. This type of research is quantitative research with the nature of the research being correlation or relationship. The population in this study were students of class XI with a total of 78 students. The sample members in this study were 78 students using the saturated sampling technique. The data collection technique used in this research was a questionnaire. Based on the research findings, it was found that there was a relationship between motivation and learning outcomes as evidenced by the r value (0.789) which is in the strong category. This showed that motivation contributed 62.3% to the learning outcomes of XI science students at SMA IT Bangkinang in the 2021/2022 academic year.
