Abstract

The presentation of the Zapin Kreasi Duo dance is a dance whose foundation is inspired by the Zapin Duo Tradition, whose title is Narsis, the Zapin Duo traditional dance in Kuala Kampar, which was later adopted and made a new Kreasi dance in collaboration with the music and movements. The research method used in this research is descriptive method using qualitative data using data collection techniques with observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. This dance carries religious values. The form of presentation of the Zapin Kreasi Duo dance in terms of aspects is having a movement that amounts to a duo-duo in each variety of motion. The theory used by the author is the theory of Soedarsono (19978:23), "that the presentation in dance has an understanding of the way of presentation or the method of presentation. serve. The elements are dance moves, floor designs, top designs, music, dramatic designs, dynamics, group composition, themes, equipment. The results of this study indicate that the Zapin Kreasi Duo dance is based on the elements of dance presentation consisting of side meeting motions, meeting steps. side, header of worship, one-sided step, transition. The floor pattern has nine basic patterns on the floor, namely, side, angled, circular, opposite, curved, horizontal parallel, random, circle. Musical accompaniment is an important element in the traditional dance profession, with which it will be easy to convey as well as the accompaniment of the Zapin Kreasi Duo dance music, which is filled with several musical instruments namely accordion, violin, gong, drum, darbuka, babano, marwas. The dramatic design on Zapin Kreasi Duo is in the form of a single cone with the intention of getting a complete film with an opening, climax, and closing. The dynamics are divided into two, there are fast at the beginning and slow at the start of the core movement. The composition of the Zapin Kreasi Duo dance group is in the form of groups and pairs. Aspects of make-up using slightly more minimalist make-up, fashion or costumes with the intention of beautifying the body and supporting the dance using a black headscarf, wearing 1 crown, 1 simple accessories on the chest circle, on the forehead, yellow shawl on the back, bun bun made of hijab, yellow brackets, and is equipped with an umbrella blooming skirt and wearing long pants.
