Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing how the quality of service in the provision of clean water for regional public companies (PERUMDA) for drinking water is Tirta Indragiri Tembilahan. This research was conducted with indicators of tangible (tangible), reliability (reliability), responsiveness (responsiveness), assurance (guarantee) and empathy (attention). The location of this research is located in Indragiri Hilir Regency, especially Tembilahan at the Regional Public Company (PERUMDA) for Tirta Drinking Water. This type of research uses descriptive with qualitative methods. The key informants and informants in this study were the Director of the Regional Public Company (PERUMDA) for Drinking Water Tirta, the Head of the Sub-Division of Subscription Services, the Head of the Engineering Division, the Head of the Administration and Finance (representing the Director) and 4 customers. Observation, for all informants using interview and documentation methods. The type of data source used is primary data obtained directly from interviews and observations related to research problems, while secondary data is in the form of books related to research problems. Data collection techniques consist of observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of research that has been carried out by researchers regarding the Quality of Service in the Provision of Clean Water for Regional Public Companies (PERUMDA) Drinking Water Tirta Indragiri Tembilahan is the service provided by the officers is good enough, the water is not fit for drinking and the water that is distributed is still often experiencing problems. both of the water does not flow until the water is cloudy due to a leaking pipe.
