Abstract

the purpose of this study is to develop anddetermine the validity of the lift the flap book media in thematic learning of grade 1 Elementary School. This research method uses development research with the ADDIE development model. This research was conducted in three stages, namely 1) the analysis phase consisted of teacher analysis, student analysis and analysis of learning materials; 2) the design stage, namely the design of the lift the flap book learning media using the Picsart, Pinterest and Microsoft Word 2010 applications; 3) the development stage includes the validation and product revision stages. While the subjects in this study were 1 teacher, 2 students and 2 design experts, 2 material experts, and 2 linguists. The instrument used is a validation sheet and the data analysis techniques usedare quantitative and qualitative. The results obtained are lift the flap book media on theme 5 sub-theme 1 for grade 1 elementary school students that are suitable for use based on the assessment of design experts with a percentage of 84.96% with valid criteria,linguists 84.96% with valid criteria and material experts with a percentage of 95.20% with very valid criteria.
