Abstract

Occupational safety and health (hereinafter referred to as K3) is a program made for workers / employers and employers as a preventative effort (Preventive) for the emergence of workplace accidents and diseases due to work relations in the work environment by identifying things that have the potential to cause workplace accidents and illnesses due to work relations, and anticipatory actions if such matters occur. The main problem of the research is How the Implementation of Occupational Safety and Health Protection for Workers at PT Perkebunan Nusantara V Tamora Garden Based on Government Regulation Number 50 of 2012 in Tapung Hulu District of Kampar Regency and What Are the Obstacles in the Implementation of Occupational Safety and Health Protection for Workers at PT Plantation Nusantara V Kebun Tamora Based on Government Regulation Number 50 of 2012 in Tapung Hulu District, Kampar Regency. The research method is observational research, by survey. while the nature is descriptive, namely the problem solving procedure investigated by describing or describing the state of the subject or object of research. Inductive drawing conclusions, namely connecting things that are Special to things that are general. The results of the study that the Implementation of Occupational Health and Safety Protection for Workers at PT Perkebunan Nusantara V Tamora Garden Based on Government Regulation Number 50 of 2012 in Tapung Hulu SubDistrict, Kampar Regency is not well implemented, because workers still do not have good safety and health protection such as the use of respiratory protective equipment while working, and so far the form of occupational Safety and Health protection of the workers is registered with the Agency for Social Security Services (BPJS) only for permanent workers, and barriers in the implementation of protection of occupational safety and health for workers at PT Perkebunan Nusantara V Kebun Tamora is a company that cannot optimally maintain and regulate workers every day so that sometimes workers do not use prescribed and recommended safety equipment so that in the event of an accident in working with officers, the company will consider providing assistance to workers, and lack of understanding of the rules regarding the protection of occupational safety and health which should have been their right to obtain it.
