Abstract
This study aims to find out whether there is an influence of online learning on students’ creative thinking at MTsN 2 Pelalawan. The type of the study is quantitative research with a correlation approach. The subject of the study is the students in class IX at MTsN 2 Pelalawan. The object of the study is the online learning on students’ creative thinking at MTsN 2 Pelalawan. The population of the study consists of 84 students, and the sample taken is from overall 84 students. The data collection techniques of the study are observation, documentation, and questionnaires. Based on the results, it is known that the simple analysis with a significance value of 0.001 < a probability value of 0.05, it means that the alternative hypothesis is accepted. The magnitude of the influence between variable X (Online Learning) and variable Y (Creative Thinking) is 0.322 or 32.2% which is in the range 0.20-0.399, or in the weak category. While the remaining 67.8% of students’ creative thinking is influenced by other variables which are not examined in this study. Thus the alternative hypothesis is accepted. The level of relationship between the influence of online learning on students’ creative thinking at MTsN 2 Pelalawan is in the weak category.
