Abstract
This study aims to determine the suitability of the application of accounting in Suka Maju Village, Bagan Sinembah District with the Principles of General Acceptable Accounting. The design that the author uses is a Quantitative method where this research is descriptive. The data used in this study are Primary Data and Secondary Data. Primary Data is the result obtained through interviews with village heads and treasurers of Suka Maju Village to obtain information about the village. Secondary Data is data obtained by collecting data that has been compiled in a ready-made form in the form of a report. From the results of research that has been carried out in Suka Maju Village, Bagan Sinembah District, that the recording carried out is still a cash base and the application of financial accounting in Suka Maju Village is not fully in accordance with the General Accepted Accounting Principles.
