Abstract

This study aims to find out how the implementation of Accountability and Transparency in Village Financial Management in Kundur Village, Tebing Tinggi Barat District, Meranti Islands Regency, based on Permendagri No. 20 of 2018 concerning Village Financial Management. This study uses a qualitative approach. The results of this study are that Kundur Village, Tebing Tinggi Barat District is already Accountable and Transparent, but its implementation has not been optimal because Kundur Village has not prepared Village RAK reports at the implementation stage. In addition, the village head only submits APBDes realization reports and activity realization reports, not all accountability reports, such as a list of sectoral, regional and other programs that have entered the village. Then, at the transparency stage, Kundur Village only submitted the APBDes Budget and its realization through an information board posted in front of the Village Office. There is no media information available to the public about the executors of budget activities, the team implementing them, or the addresses of complaints.
