Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine the interaction and main effect of goat manure and NPK 16:16:16 on the growth and production of long bean renek. This research has been carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru City. The study was conducted from October 2021 to January 2022. This study used a Factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor was goat manure (K) consisting of 4 levels, namely without fertilizer application, 1.4 kg, 2.8 kg, and 4.2 kg/plot. The second factor was NPK 16:16:16 (N) fertilizer consisting of 4 levels of treatment, namely without fertilizer application, 7.2 g, 14.4 g, and 21.6 g/plant. Parameters observed were plant height, flowering age, harvest age, longest pod length, number of pods, pod weight, and number of remaining pods. Observational data were analyzed statistically and continued with Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) at the 5% level. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the interaction of goat manure and NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer had a significant effect on the parameters of flowering age, fruit residue, number of pods, and weight of pods. The best treatment was a combination treatment of goat drum fertilizer 4.2 kg/plot and 16:16:16 NPK fertilizer 21.6 g/plant. The main effect of goat manure was real on all observation parameters. The best treatment was goat manure at a dose of 4.2 kg/plot (K3). The main effect of NPK 16:16:16 was significant for all observation parameters. The best treatment was NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer with a dose of 21.6 g/plant (N3).
