Abstract

Well M has a very small permeability of 0.05 md because the formation in this well is in the form of shale which requires a special method to start producing it. And one of the stimuli is hydraulic fracturing (HF). To facilitate the production of oil and gas trapped in the M well formation, HF is carried out. Planning for hydraulic fracturing in the well will be carried out using Fraccade software where in the Fraccade software will be determined fracturing fluid, proppant, fracture geometry model. After the output of the fraccade software is obtained, the next step is to use the CMG software to simulate the production flow rate prediction for a certain period of time in the future. It was concluded from this study that the highest effective permeability (Kf) was 1435.04 mD with primeFrac fracturing fluid model, proppant size 12/20, pressure 20 bpm, and CarboProp proppant.
