Abstract

This research is to know Contribution of Leg Muscle Power to the Result of the Ball Shooting in Male Students of Class XI B of Pangean 1 Public Middle School . The study was conducted using a correlational method that is comparing the measurement results of two different variables in order to determine the level of contribution between variables. The population in this study were male students of class XI B Pangean 1 State Middle School totaling 17 students. The sampling technique in this study uses saturated sampling technique, meaning that the entire population is sampled (Sugiono, 2010: 96). So that the number of samples in this study were 17 male students of class XI B Pangean 1 Public Middle School . Based on the results of the research that has been done, a conclusion can be drawn as follows: there is a contribution of leg muscle power to the ball shooting results in male students of class XI B of Pangean 1 State Middle School at 23.6%, which is found to count = 0.486 at 5% significance level found rtable = 0.482. Thus r count> r table or 0.486> 0.482.
