Abstract

This study is motivated by the efforts of teachers in improving students’ outcomes in learning Al-Qur'an Hadith so that the students can get good learning outcomes and reach the educational goals. This study is very important because it tries to describe how to improve students’ outcomes in learning Al-Qur'an Hadith. This study aims to investigate the efforts of teachers in improving students’ outcomes in learning Al-Qur'an Hadith at MTs Ittihadul Muballighin, West Pasaman Regency, West Sumatra Province. This study will contribute to the variations of literature which can be used as reference material for other schools in improving outcomes in learning Al-Qur'an Hadith. The problem formulation of the study is how the efforts of teachers in improving learning outcomes. The object of the study is students’ outcomes in learning Al-Qur'an Hadith, the method of the study is qualitative with a case study approach. The informants of the study are the teachers of Al-Qur'an Hadith at MTs Ittihadul Muballighin of West Pasaman Regency, West Sumatra Province, they are Mr. Abdi Manab S.Pd and Mr. Wahyu Fikri S.Pd.i. The data collection technique of the study is interview. The data processing and analysis of the study is by providing raw data in the form of transcripts, field notes and the views of the researchers; organizing and preparing data to be analyzed, reading all data, coding, compiling themes and data descriptions, constructing between themes, interpreting and giving meaning to the themes. The results of the study show that improving students outcomes is by instilling Al-Qur'an and Hadith as guidelines for life, implementing the approaches, creating the Al-Qur'an as the main reciting sources, providing basic concepts, mastering Al-Qur'an and Hadith material, conducting discussions before carrying out learning, exemplifying the knowledge of Tajweed in reading the Qur'an, giving quizzes to students and using learning media.
