Abstract

Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) is one of the methods to increase the production of petroleum. In general the existing EOR methods can be grouped into four parts, one of which is the imposition of Mixed Gas of CO 2 Injection. This method has two miscible and immiscible, conditions. Miscible occurs at pressures above Minimum Miscibility Pressure . Before the injection of CO 2 , it first determines the value of TTM so CO 2 gas injected can be mixed with oil reservoir conditions. This condition occurs in layers of AB and AB-4A-4B in which the amount of oil that is left after the primary phase of the initial oil in place. Thus, there is potential to increase reserves and increase production of both layers through a method of enhanced oil recovery (EOR). Determination of the Minimum Pressure is mixed on the field Meruap is done on two layers, this study aims to determine the Minimum Miscibility Pressure between CO 2 gas and oil in the second layer of the reservoir. by using the method of correlation of the correlation among others used Yellig-Metcalfe, NPC, Coronquist, Glaso, Yuan and ETU. the determination of the value of TTM is influenced the concentration of CO 2 and temperature reservoir. The results of the calculation of correlation for each layer. On layers and layers of 4A AB-AB-4B, the lowest values of TTM acquired for 1,116 psia at temperature o F 134, and the price the highest of 4,350 TTM psia in temperatures o F 134 and 154 o F. and on a layer of AB-4B, the lowest values of TTM acquired for 1,140 psia in temperatures oF 129, and the highest of TTM price 4,200 psia in temperatures oF 129. Based on the results of the analysis of determination of TTM in two layers in the field Meruap the higher Temperature will raise the Temperature getting lower whereas TTM will lower the TTM, and if the higher value API, then the lower the CO 2 pressure needed so that the CO 2 can be mixed with oil.
