Abstract

The implementation of good governanceis one of the processes applied in a private or goverment orfanization to determine decision in taking an action. Good governance will be achieaved if the ten prinsiples have been implemented. One of the peinsiples of good governance is ntramsparency. Transparency is one of the prinsiples that can guarantee access or freedom for all people to aptain infformatio about the administration and management carriet out by the goverment . with the prinsiple of transparency, it is hoped that the Koto Baru Village goverment will manage the village fund transparently and accontably and involve the village community. This study aims to find out how the village fund is managed in Koto Baru Village, how is village Fund management mechanism carriet out by Koto Baru Village goverment, Singingi Hilir District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques in this study include interviews and documentation. The result showed that the management of the Village Fund carriet out by the Koto Baru Village goverment was still not in accordance with the applicable laws and regulation and did not involve the community from the planning, implementation, administration, reporting and accountability stages to the delivery of development results. This study cuncludes that the Koto Baru Village goverment has not fully inplemented transparency in village financial management to the local community in accordance with applicable regulations.
