Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the suitability of financial management transparency and accountability in the Indrapuri Village Government, Tapung District, Kampar Regency with indicators according to Permendagri No. 20 of 2018. The location of this research was carried out in Indrapuri Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency. This research is a qualitative research by comparing the existing practice and theory, then a conclusion is drawn to be presented in the thesis. Interviews were conducted with 4 informants representing several demographic characteristics, such as region, gender, place of residence, and age group. The results of this study are the stages of planning, administration, reporting, accountability and transparency are not in accordance with the indicators and Permendagri No. 20 of 2018, because the Teratak Buluh village finance department did not make a general cash subsidiary book, there were errors in recording the realization report, there were no sanctions set for errors/omissions in the implementation of activities, there were no measurable outcomes, there was no willingness and accessibility. documents, as well as the absence of openness in the village financial management process to the community.
