Abstract

Changes in population growth which is increasing rapidly as well as the emergence of an increase in the need for housing, of course, will affect the increasing demand for land as well. Where, this will trigger the community to use plantation land or agricultural land so that its area is decreasing which will then cause an imbalance between the area of plantation and agricultural land with various other land needs. Changes in land-use can provide changes in the community's economy such as the process of changing professions, changes in income and income levels, as well as the level of welfare of people around the primary sector such as people around the Tenayan Raya office complex in Pekanbaru City. This research is a descriptive study to determine the physical changes of land that occur around the Tenayan Raya Office Complex and use quantitative analysis to identify changes in the level of income earned by the community from before and after the establishment of the Tenayan Raya Office Complex with data collection methods through field observations, documentation, and interviews. This study uses the T-paired test with the aim of looking at the relationship related to income generation before and after the establishment of the primary sector service coverage. The results of this study show that there has been a change in land-use due to the establishment of the primary scale service sector, as well as a significant increase in the level of community income from before and after the primary scale service sector activity is indicated by the results of the T- paired samples test which produces a significant value. (2-tailed) of 0.000, where the condition of acceptance of the hypothesis is accepted if the p-value is 0.05. So this shows that there is a significant difference between the initial treatment data, namely income before the establishment of the primary scale service sector and the final treatment data, namely income gain after the establishment of the primary scale service sector.
