Abstract

The high traffic violations and accidents of motorcycle drivers, especially underage drivers, should not occur, Article 77 paragraph 1 and Article 81 paragraph 1 (a) of Law Number 22 Year 2009 concerning Traffic and Transportation, and Article 24 (a) and 25 1 (a) Police Regulation No. 9 of 2012 concerning SIM, that riding a motorcycle under the age of 17 is not permitted. This study aims to analyze and explain the supervision of underage motorbike drivers by Satlantas Polresta Pekanbaru, and to analyze and explain obstacles in the implementation of supervision of underage motorbike drivers by the Pekanbaru Police Satlantas. this study uses a type of descriptive quantitative research because the author intends to provide the results of analysis and detailed information on the object of research. Based on the results of the research that the author has done shows that the implementation of supervision from related agencies has been carried out, but from the public response or underage motorbike drivers themselves are still quite implemented, this proves that there is still a lack of forms of supervision and socialization carried out both through schools and media as a form of precautionary measures, in order to reduce underage motorbike driver drivers. and can increase public awareness.
