Abstract
This study was conducted to determine the relationship between classroom environment and motivation to learn biology class X and XI IPA SMA PGRI Pekanbaru academic Year 2013/2014. The ssample in this study amounted to 142 people, consisting of four clases, namely X IPA I, X IPA2, XI IPA1 and XI IPA@. Data was collected through observation , interviews , and questionnaires. Data were analysed using product moment correlation techniques. From the research obtained the correlation between variables X (Classroom environment) and Y variables (motivation to learn bilogys) of 0.48, and contribution of the classroom environment to learning motivation is 23,04%. Based on the results of t-test analysis found that of t (6,25)>t table(1.65). it can be concluded that there is a relationship between classroom environment and learning and learning motivation in biology class X an d XI IPA SMA PGRI pekanbaru on Academic Year 2014/2014
