Abstract
This study was carried out in Village X, Batang Gansal District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, precisely at coordinates 102°28'37.54"E-102°30'41.01"E and 0°43'26.87"S-0°45'3.66"S. This study aims to determine the potential, distribution, and amount of Mineral C resources resulting from exploration. Exploration activities were carried out to obtain the location, shape, dimensions, distribution, quality and resources of Mineral C. The Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) method was carried out at 9 measurement points using the Schlumberger Configuration to search for and map the potential of Mineral C based on variations in resistivity values in the research area. to calculate the volume of reserves of mineral resources C. Mineral content is found in rock samples, namely sandstones. Data obtained in the form of resistivity values are used to identify three different subsurface zones. Low resistivity value zone (<15-40 ?m) identified as sandy loam layer, medium resistivity value zone (60-200 ?m) sand type, gravel considered as potential aquifer, high resistivity value zone (>400 ?m) indicated as compact sandstone, used to calculate the reserve volume, the calculations are 360,476 m3 of cover soil, 360,476 m3 of sand, 159,580 m3 of sandy clay, 118,196 m3 of cobblestone, and 455,815 m3 of compact sandstone, the total volume of C Minerals is 13,223,304 m3, and the calculation of Mineral C reserves yields a volume of 11,900,973.6 m3.
