Abstract
Soft soil and peat problems on the stability of road foundation have an effect on inhibiting the accessibility function of the road because it has decreased in a relatively long time, to achieve a level of stability of decline and collapse in the heap can take years and if the heap exceeds the critical height / collapse. Lightweight foam mortar material (mixture of sand, foaming agent, cement and water) is one of the selected alternatives with a light weight content of 0.6 - 0.8 t / m3 will reduce soft subgrade stress, reduce the amount of decrease and because it is rigid like concrete. The sand used as a mixture for lightweight foam mortar materials is sand from Danau Bingkuang, Kampar Regency, which has a specific gravity of 2.58 SSD specific gravity of 2.60 pseudo-species 2.64 and water absorption rate of 1.49%. And the cement used is sourced from several freely circulating cement brands in Riau Province. In the laboratory implementation, the design criteria are subbase with a planned compressive strength of 800 kPa or 8 kg/cm2. From the test results data obtained the average UCS value for each cement brand at the age of 28 days is Bosowa cement of 9.33 kg/cm2, Conch cement of 12.32 kg/cm2, Garuda cement of 7.51 kg/cm2, cement Padang is 10.91 kg/cm2 and cement Tiga Roda is 14.41 kg/cm2.
