Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out: (1) the effect of implementing good governance on organizational performance in Pekanbaru's Ministry of Religion Office, (2) the effect of job motivation on organizational performance in Pekanbaru's Ministry of Religion Office and (3) the effect of implementing good governance and job motivation on the performance of the Pekanbaru Ministry of Religion Office organization. This reseaerch included causal associative research which was using a quantitative approach. This research was categorized as survey research, because the research instrument was form of questioner. The sample in this research were civil servant in Pekanbaru's Ministry of Religion Office which totaling 68 civil servant. Testing validity of the instrument was using Confirmatory Factor Analyzes while the reliability used Cronbach Alpha, and data analysis was using multiple regression analysis. The results of the research indicate that: (1) the implementation of good governance does not have a positive and significant effect on organizational performance. It is seen from the score t (count) is higher than t (table) (2) job motivation has a positive and significant effect on organizational performance. In can be seen from the score score t (count) is higher than t (table) and (3) the implementation of good governance and job motivation simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on organizational performance and it can be seen from calculating score f (count) is higher than f (table)
