Abstract

The problems discussed in this study are service users at online transportation companies, namely Go-Jek on the Gosend feature which has legal consequences including that who will be responsible for the losses suffered by consumers and those owned by drivers, including what corporate responsibility is consumers will get when they get a loss for lost goods that will be sent on this Gosend application for irresponsible drivers. Therefore, the service provider (company) must accept and provide a clear responsibility for this. The main problem in this research is how is the responsibility of the online transportation application company PT. Go-Jek Indonesia towards consumers in the transportation of goods (Go-Send) in Pekanbaru City and efforts to resolve the Company's Responsibility to Consumers who are harmed. The method used in this research is observational research or by means of a survey and comparing it with the laws and regulations related to this research. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, questionnaires and interviews where the parties involved in this study were informants. The results of this study indicate that the company's accountability to Go- Send service users is a Gojek offer application that has been implemented well but there are still things that need to be considered again regarding the provisions that have been in effect and are running. PT. Gojek Indonesia regarding the Go-Send feature by providing appropriate compensation for errors or failures in using each of these services. Efforts in the settlement of consumers regarding the losses suffered by consumers is PT. Gojek provides insurance Every time you use the Go- Send service, customers automatically get a maximum insurance coverage value of up to Rp. 1,000,000 without any additional fees and by paying a premium according to the conditions that already apply.
