Abstract
The purpose of this study was to find out how much the basic skills of passing under the volleyball game were increased through the tool modification method in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 6 Siak Hulu, Kampar Regency. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects in this study were Grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 6 Siak Hulu, Kampar Regency, totaling 31 students, consisting of 16 students and 15 female students. The research instrument used in this study was a learning device consisting of a syllabus and lesson plans as well as a performance test (psychomotor) for passing under the volleyball game. The results of this study are 1) There is an increase in learning outcomes for passing under volleyball through modification of tools (balls) in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 6 Siak Hulu, Kampar Regency with a mastery level of 90.3%. 2) In the first cycle, 18 students were able to increase their learning ability and mastery with a percentage of 58%. 3) The results of the second cycle showed that there was an increase in the ability of students in learning completeness (KKM) of 28 students with a percentage of 90.35% compared to cycle I which completed the KKM of 18 students with a percentage of 58%.
