Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment on the performance of production employees at PT.Asia Forestama Raya Pekanbaru. This type of research is in the form of quantitative descriptive with quantitative methods. quantitative method is a research method based on the philosophy of positivism, used to examine certain populations or samples, data collection using research instruments, quantitative/statistical data analysis, with the aim of testing the established hypotheses. Sampling in this study used the Random Sampling technique. Then the data processing technique used validity, reliability, simple linear regression, hypothesis testing (T test), and determination test (R²). Based on the analysis, there is an effect of 63% and 37% of it is influenced by other variables that are not taken in this study. The company is expected to create a good work environment in order to improve employee performance.
