Abstract
Development of business law is currently growing very rapidly. Besides the development of technology as well as advanced and the law should follow the development of the era. In Indonesia began to develop the terms of an act called the sale and purchase transactions online (e-commerce). It is possible that it will give rise to a legal problem. In conjunction with consumer protection laws in Indonesia, has been set in Law No. 8 of 1999 Concerning Consumer Protection. One of the online stores that carry out online buying and selling transactions is @sleepwalking.cloth, the authors can formulate the main issues including: first, how is the legal protection of consumers in online transactions according to Law no. 8 of 1999 concerning consumer protection. second, what are the obstacles to implementing Online Buying and Selling Transactions Through E-commerce This research method is included in survey research where the author observes in real terms in the field so that data is collected as material for this research. While the nature of this research is an analytical description that aims to describe the objects observed through real data and events in order to produce conclusions. The results of the study show that the implementation of online buying and selling transactions at the online shop @sleepwalking.cloth is not in accordance with the Civil Code and the Consumer Protection Act. The obstacle faced in carrying out online buying and selling transactions at the online shop @sleepwalking.cloth is the lack of responsibility for business actors regarding goods that are traded in a defective condition. default committed by @sleepwalking.cloth, namely the seller did not carry out his obligations in the online buying and selling transaction process, which was a negligent act by the seller.
