Abstract
The sub-district is a regional apparatus that regulates the area itself, but now the sub-district and sub-district status change as a regional apparatus or an extension of the regent / mayor, where every government activity, community service and development is under the control of the regent / mayor. District also acts as a communicator between the district / city government and the village / kelurahan. In addition, the subdistrict head also carries out general government tasks in Government Regulation Number 19 of 2008 concerning sub-districts, namely in article (14) paragraph 1 and article (15) paragraph 1 and 2, the task of the camat is to coordinate efforts to maintain infrastructure and public service facilities . Coordination conducted by the subdistrict head aims to achieve harmony, harmony, balance, integrity synchronization and to unite various opinions of a policy so that it can be implemented effectively and efficiently. This study is a descriptive study that took the research location of Logas Tanah Darat Subdistrict, Kuantan Singingi Regency. Then the samples in this study were the sub-district head, village head, RT, RW, community figure. The data collection technique carried out by the author was interview observation and questionnaire. The conclusion of the role of the subdistrict head in coordinating the maintenance of infrastructure and public service facilities in the Logas Tanah Daram Kuantan Singingi District was deemed not to have been implemented. This assessment can be seen from the results of the recapitulation of indicators to hold official meetings, appoint a team, make guidelines, and hold informal meetings. Of the four indicators the results for the assessment were not carried out at 42.24%
