Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the Physical Condition Level of Pencak Silat Athletes in Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi in Preparation for the X 2022 Provincial Sports Week. The type of this research is descriptive. The population and sample in this study were Pencak Silat Athletes of Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi in Preparation for the X 2022 Provincial Sports Week, a total of 16 people. The research instrument used was a physical condition test for a fighter, namely a leg dynamometer test, a sit up test, a push up test, a vertical jump test, a medicine ball throw test, a flexibility test and a 15 minute run test. The data analysis technique used is to calculate the categories of physical condition values owned by fighters. Based on the results of calculating the average value of the physical condition that has been carried out on the fighter, it is known that the Physical Condition Level of the Pencak Silat Athletes of Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi in Preparation for the X 2022 Provincial Sports Week is 3.8 which is classified in the Poor category.
