Abstract

This research was motivated by moral problems, such as lack of students’ politeness that was an important point in learning process. Research problem in this research questioned how Al-Qur’an recitation ability level was, how students’ moral was, was there any influence of al-Qur’an recitation ability on students’ moral. The purpose in this research examined to know the influence of students’ Al-Qur’an recitation ability at junior high school 5 Teluk Kuantan. This research used quantitative with correlational approach. The subject in this research was students’ class VII and VIII at junior high school 5 Teluk Kuantan. The object in this research was moral and students’ class VII and VIII Al-Qur’an recitation ability. The population in this research took 185 students and the sampling by using slovin formula with error margin 5% in 126 students. Data collection technique used questionnaire and documentation. Based on data analysis, it was known that there was any influence of Al-Qur’an recitation ability on students’ moral at junior high school 5 Teluk Kuantan. The influence score of Al-Qur’an recitation ability in 0.431 or 43% was in middle category, meanwhile 57% was influenced by others factors.
