Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the interaction and main effect of cow manure and Biotogrow fertilizer on the yield and production of leek (Allium fistulosum). This research was conducted at the Experimental Garden Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru City. The study was conducted from March to July 2022. This study used a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is Cow Manure (K) consisting of 4 levels, namely without application, 37.5 g, 75 g and 112.5 g. The second factor is Biotogrow fertilizer (B) consisting of 4 levels of treatment,namely withoutadministration,1.5 mL/L,3 mL/Land4.5 mL/L. Parameter observed were plant height, number of tillers per clump, number of leaves per tiller, age of harvest, fresh weight per clump, root crown ratio. Observational data were analyzed statistically and continued with Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) at 5% level. The study showed that the interaction of cow manure and biotogrow fertilizer had a significant effect on harvest age, fresh weight per clump and root shoot ratio. The best treatment was a combination of cow manure 112.5 g/plant and biotogrow fertilizer 4.5 ml/L. The main effect of cow manure and biotogrow fertilizer was significant on plant height, number of tillers per clump, number of leaves per tiller. The best treatment was cow manure 112.5 g/plant, while the best treatment for biotogrow was 4.5 ml/L.
