Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the interaction of gold snail POC and Urea on the growth and yield of patchouli essential oil. This study used a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD), consisting of 2 factors. The first factor was POC snail gold which consisted of 4 treatment levels, namely: 0, 3, 6, 9cc / L, the second factor was Urea which consisted of 4 treatment levels, namely: 0, 10, 20, 30 g / plant. Parameters observed were plant height, leaf wet weight, leaf dry weight, yield index, essential oil content and determination of essential oil quality. The results of the observations were analyzed statistically. If the calculated F is greater than the F table, then it is continued with a further test of the honest real difference at the 5% level. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the interaction effect of gold snail POC and urea was significant on all observation parameters. The best treatment was 9cc/L concentration of gold snail POC and 30g/plant urea. The main effect of the POC dose of golden snail was real on all observation parameters, the best treatment was the concentration of 9cc / L and Urea 30 / plant.
