Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the growth response of coriander plants to the application of NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer and NASA POC. This research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution Km 11 No. 113, Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. The research was carried out for 3 months starting from December 2021 to February 2022. This study used a Completely Randomized Factorial Design which consisted of two factors. The first factor was NPK 16:16:16 which consisted of 4 treatment levels, namely: 0, 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 g per polybag. The second factor is that NASA's POC consists of 4 levels, namely: 0, 3, 6, and 9 ml/l of water. Each treatment consisted of 3 replications, so 48 experimental units were obtained. The parameters observed were: plant height, number of leaf midribs, plant fresh weight, plant economic weight, root volume, harvesting age, and harvest index. The research data were analyzed statistically and continued with the BNJ follow-up test at the 5% level. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it was concluded that the growth response of coriander plants was significant on the parameters of plant height, number of leaf sheaths, plant fresh weight, plant economic weight, and root volume, to the combination treatment of NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer dose 3.0 g/ poly bag and POC NASA with a concentration of 9 ml/l water. The growth response of coriander plants was significant for all observed parameters by applying NPK 16:16:16 3.0 g/polybag. The growth response of coriander plants was real for all observed parameters by giving NASA POC 9 ml/l water.
