Abstract

Currently, the Indragiri Hulu Community and Village Empowerment Service (PMD) uses internet services to support the effectiveness of work at the agency. So that when the internet network is down or experiencing interference it can hinder the work of employees and employees who work, causing losses in service. To anticipate and minimize these losses and resolve network problems at the Indragiri Hulu Community and Village Empowerment Service (PMD), a system is needed that can monitor internet activity and network connections at the agency. Therefore, in this study a network monitoring simulation system was created to control the network at the Community and Village Empowerment Service (PMD) using The Dude Configuration Simple Queue. This prompted the author to conduct research with the title "Local Area Network (LAN) Network Monitoring Design Simulation in the Community and Village Empowerment Service Office Area of Indragiri Hulu Regency" with the hope of speeding up the process of network diagnosis.
