Abstract
This study aims to determine the results of the validity and practicality of the development of learning media with the software Lectora Inspire on straight line equation material for class VIII SMP. This type of development research uses a 4-D model which has been modified into 3 stages, namely Define, Design and Develop. The instruments and data collection techniques used were teacher and student response questionnaires with a Likert scale and a Guttman scale. The object of research is learning media with the software Lectora Inspire on straight-line equations for class VIII SMP. The test subjects were 29 students of class VIII SMP Negeri Bernas. Learning media products developed with the Lectora Inspire software were validated by three validators. The results of validation and practicality data were analyzed by determining the average of each assessment. The results of the validation data analysis show an average of 90.66% with very valid criteria. The teacher's response questionnaire assessment of the use of instructional media obtained an average of 97.06% with very practical criteria and an average student response questionnaire assessment of 88.45% with very practical criteria. Thus, it can be concluded that the learning media with the Lectora Inspire software on straight line equation material VIII SMP has been tested for its validity and practicality.
