Abstract
Problems in class II pay less attention to the teacher's explanation, and students are engrossed in playing and telling stories so that the learning conveyed by the teacher is not conveyed properly to students. When the teacher asked about the material that had been explained, the students did not can answer and just keep silent, so that the learning objectives are not conveyed to students well. This is because the media used by the teacher when learning is lacking attract the attention of students. The purpose of this research is to find out how to use the media learning in class II SDN 190 Pekanbaru. This study uses a qualitative approach descriptive. Sources of data from this study were teachers and students at elementary school SDN 190 Pekanbaru. Data collection methods are observation, interviews, and document review. Instrument used to collect data are interview sheets and observation sheets. Results from this study is that teachers have used learning media well, media that used by the teacher for theme 1, namely living in harmony, in the form of media images of the Pancasila symbol. With the existence of learning media that is good and practical.
